I wish you all the luck in the world. It is certainly not an easy task. I think you need to feel comfortable being able to talk to the doctor and that he or she answers your questions to your satisfaction. It is very important to be prepared ahead of time of course so don't be afraid to write your questions down such as : What is their stand on chronic lyme? How do they treat - orals, IVs, supplements? How long do they anticipate treatment for? What about coinfections? What other labs will they run - liver, inflammation, vitamin D, etc.?
Bring with you as much as you can such as results from your prior tests, any previous medical history, etc.
