Bite mark on me..

What kind of other insect can cause a bite with a ring of red,but has a center? It is not a bullseye. I was at friends other night,and saw the bite,then it was itchy. was only red. This was tuesday. Then I swatted away a tiger mosquito. I am just worried its tick. Its about as large as my fingernale section. The center is not very defined either. I am leaning towards mosquito.

Rashes from Lyme are not always a Bulls eye rash. Do a search online with the terms "Lyme Disease rash" and look for pictures. You will see all kinds of rashes from Lyme Disease.

The pictures that I just saw from the Tiger mosquito look similar to the beginnings of chigger bites! They sure do swell up!

Also remember that mosquitoes pass on Lyme and other tick-borne infections as well.
