My nurtitionist said, no wonder you feel like death warmed over...cortisol is actually high in the morning, drops to non-existent in afternoon (I hate afternoon fatigue. ugh.), and then gets too high before bed. Not as bad as I thought it would be. I was low in ALL of my hormones, like barely register low. I have been off Yaz hormones for two or three months...I wonder if that has anything to do with it. I don't know, just crazy results. She said she doesn't know if Lyme is causing, or if all my symptoms are caused by low hormones. Like the chicken and the egg question I guess.
I am not sure if continueing treatment of lyme will automatically cure this problem...probably will have to supplement, but in the past, this usually caused me to swing in the overdose hormones problems.
The brain fog...I forgot my phone number today, I had to look it up...hormones, lyme, or both?
