Brain fog-sometimes you just have to laugh.

I know that brain fog is a very serious side effect of Lyme, but sometimes you just have to laugh!

I've been smelling digusting smells for the last week.I was convinced that my neuro-symptoms were returning and was getting very concerned.
The smell was worse in the hall and in my kitchen next to the hall,but the funny thing was that for the last 2 days the smell came with me when I was walking my dogs.

This morning the mystery was solved--poop bag!
I had changed my outdoor jacket because it had been getting colder but then gone back to a lighter one and all the time my poop bag was in my jacket pocket hanging in the hall--rotting away! The last 2 days I had failed to notice that the bag was in a side pocket in my dog walking jacket.well and truly digusting but I am so relieved that it all has nothing to do with Lyme.

Last week, I was watching a German film with English subtitles,my German is nearly as good as my English so I didn't have to rely on the English( you would have thought)
However hearing German and seeing English was just a tad too much for my Lymie brain and I ended up turning the sound off and reading the subtitles, which of course ruined the film---totally crazy.

Anyone else doing silly things?

Oh gosh, Tickled, asking if any of us has done anything silly??? LOL!!! Not me!!! LOL!

Although I sure did get a tickle out of your post and Flowergals!!

I've not forgotten the poo bags before, but I've happily put a box of cereal in the frig and the milk in the pantry before!! LOL!! Fortunately, I had reason to get into the pantry shortly after that and noticed the milk before hubby did!!

I've found so many things in the oddest of places! Keys in the silverware drawer, my pills for the day in one of my clothes drawers, and even potatoes in with the shoes (don't ask! giggle!). There are sooo many others where I just had to laugh - or I was going to either have a temper tantrum or cry! Like trying to find a plain white mid-sized care in a parking lot of lots of other plain white mid-sized cars at the grocery store, getting lost inside the grocery (or other) store because I couldn't find the front doors, to making numerous laps around the house daily because I'm trying to retrace my steps in order to remember why I went into that room in the first place - then forgetting why I was wandering around the house in the first place!!

My life with Lyme has been full of giggles!! It's either been laugh or cry, so I choose to laugh as often as I can!

Oh LOL Tickled!! I do love your sense of humor!!! I can't count how many times I've fallen into something with my feet up in the air like that!! LOL!! Unfortunately, I never seem to be alone during those times!!

People over here in the US just think I nuts anyway!! Which I'm beginning to think they may be right!!!

I guess I'm pretty lucky I've never had a dishwasher!! Who know what kind of things might have gotten washed in there!! Giggle!

I did something very silly this morning-suprise, suprise LOL
I got up from the breakfast table and immediadely noticed that something was very wrong with my vision,everything was blurred.Out of focus,sort of wierd ,so I went upstairs to check my eyes, only to look into the mirror at a mad woman wearing 2 pairs of reading glasses!When I actually put on the second pair, goodness knows.
