Does anyone know of any supplements that my 15 year old daughter can take for relief of monthly menstrual cramps? She gets them so bad and needs some kind of help for them other than Advil.
I have been giving her Magnesium Malate 400 mg per day for the past few months in hopes that that would relieve some of her pain, but it doesn't seem to have helped her much. I don't know if it's too low of a dose, because I have heard that doctors give 600 mg per day for migraine sufferers. I know that Magnesium is great for muscle pain, so I thought it would work for her!
Any other ideas?
