Can i have spirochetes in blood without Lyme or other disease?

Syphillis is the only other possibility that I'm aware of. I would think it's more likely for you to have Lyme. Do you have symptoms?

I did a darkfield a long time ago when i first got sick and it showed candida in it. I was never told of spirochetes. Does the darkfield always show spirochetes if you have lyme? Maybe I should get one again.

I had erythema nodosum on my lower legs for 18 (!) years. Had 4 biopsies on them. At first they linked them to the Hodgkin's Lymphoma I had, but even when I was cleared of the cancer, they kept on being there, for 18 years in total.

I had numerous tests, but they would only look at the erythema nodosum itself, the doctors wouldn't even listen at all the other symptoms I had. Got chest X-rays, nothing came out of it, also a full rheumatoid arthritis checkout. Until 2,5 years ago - this Dr saw them as an indicator of something going wrong in my body (a person doesn't have an inflammation for 18 years with no reason was what I was thinking), he kept on searching for a cause, I had 2 negative zoonosis tests (Bartonella/Borrelia/and some others). After being on GCmaf for a year or so, suddenly another Bartonella test came back positive.

Erythema Nodosum has been found on patients with Bartonella.

To answer a few of your questions -
Erytema Induratum can be a symptoms of Lyme disease. I've had a couple of very minor ones.

Dark field microscopy is a very effective way to diagnose blood borne parasites and bacteria. It doesn't rely on the immune system to get a positive result for infection, which is a really good thing, since Lyme bacteria can essentially lower our immune system's response.

Garinni would indicate a Borrelia Garinni infection, which a strain of Lyme disease, so yes, you do have Lyme disease. You will need some type of treatment in order to overcome this debilitating disease.

Haemobartonella is a type of Mycoplasma infection that infects cats and can be transmitted to humans. Mycoplasma infections are fairly common among those who have Lyme, Bartonella, Babesia and others.

It's relatively "new" is why we have yet to include it in the "New to Lyme" thread. I am still in treatment so that's one thread that suffers the most as I don't have the energies needed to keep up with all of the new info that comes in. Sorry it's not more complete.

From my research, there are only 3 types of spirochetal infections; Lyme (Borrelia), Treponema (syphilus for one) and Leptospirosis infections. Your symptoms will likely tell you which one you are dealing with.

The other thing that must be taken into consideration is that the bacteria doesn't stay in the blood. The first order of business for this bacteria is to get out of the blood and into the tissues, organs, joints and elsewhere. It only goes into the blood to replicate -or I believe it's only to replicate - someone correct me if I'm wrong, please.

So as Moon said, sometimes they are there and sometimes they aren't.
