I think some of the misunderstanding came from not clarifying the
difference between "all" and "some". Everyone is different and
everyone brings something different to the table. I will mention, as
it relates to Don's response, something I noticed a couple of years ago. There is another lyme forum that I used to pay attention to and
there were a number of people who got well who used a particular clinic in Atlanta Ga. They were open about the protocol used there and went into great detail about what they specifically used to get well -as there were a lot of others on the discussion forum who couldn't afford to go the clinic - it was/is operated by an M.D. and it's prices were comprable to a conventional clinic, though it specialized in alternative approaches. It's basic protocal used herbs, basically a modified Cowden protocol, i.e., Samento, and other Nutremedix herbs. They also used some homeopathic de-tox remedies and accupuncture. Basically they were using a pretty common approach that I'd seen many other's use largely with mixed results. However, based on the people posting on the site, the clinic was having a phenomenol success rate with really difficult cases. The one thing they seemed to offer that was different was they were Christian based, used prayer, and faith as a cornerstone in their approach and the people getting well were in tune with that approach.
This was a couple of years ago and the few times I've checked the site out the people that got well no longer posted. Was having a strong spiritual belief system that was supported and perhaps marshalled in some way by the clinic a factor in these people's healing or was it just a coincidence, or some other factor, I don't know, but the success of the clinic at that time did stand out as extraordinary.
