keep fever down?

I've got a flu... Had a fever of 101-102 for a couple of days. I've been hanging in there sans advil, etc., trying to let my body do its thing and fight it off. Would it be better to bring the fever down though? Can a flu end up making my lyme worse? Any precautions?

In my opinion, there's no reason to allow the body to struggle with other things that can be treated while one is trying to heal from these infections. It only makes sense to me to lighten the load for the body whenever I can so that my body can better 'concentrate' on the fight with the Lyme & other infections.
