"Tea mug" circles on stomach

I just noticed this morning in the shower that I have two almost perfectly round circles rash/discoloration on my abdomen. They are both about 2" round, one over the bottom of my right rib (probably above my gallbladder), the other, a 3/4 of a circle over my left rib, almost wrapping to the side of my body. They aren't itchy, raised, or bruises. They are just slightly darker than my skin, a fine line of a circle. My PCP doesn't think it's ring worm (fungus) but doesn't have any idea what it is. Thought it may be related to discoid Lupus. (pics I've found online don't look the same.)

I do have chronic Hepatitis B (viral load good for a year, been on treatment for 2.5 years), for the past 1.5yrs have been having a lot of mysterious symptoms. Tested positive for Sjogren's Syndrome, now negative. Was on plaquenil fo 5 months, doctor took me off of it for past 2 months, not "convinced" that I have Sjogren's. Recently tested a weak positive for drug-induced Lupus.

Anyone have an idea what this skin thing could be? I also went to acupuncture the day before (after 1.5yrs away), but I don't think there were any needles places near these areas. I've also never had a reaction to acupuncture before. I do somehow remember that I had this circle marking before a few months ago, but didn't pay much attention to it at the time, thought it was an imprint from clothing or something.

Did the acupuncturist do any cupping? If so, that could leave this type of marking on your skin...

No I didn't get any cupping.
