yellow tongue

Been on antibiotics for 3 weeks now but within the last 3 or 4 days Ive been noticing a yellow coating on my tongue. With body itching throughout the day. ANy suggjestions? thanks

When was your liver enzymes last checked beil? Are you taking probiotics?

Not to freak you out at all but yellow eyes/mucous membranes including the tongue can indicate liver issues which can occur from antibiotic use - itching is also a sign of this. I would call your doctor and get some blood work in asap if you haven't been checked in awhile.

Milk thistle is an herb a lot of folks are on to protect there liver while on antibiotics. The other possibility is what Klemenz mentioned as yeast issues or a combo/herx rxn. I had a yellow whitish tint coating to my tongue but now that I am off abx it is under control.
