Was treated for early lyme, but bite still itchy sometimes

Hi everyone,
I was treated for early Lyme and was given the recommended course of treatment, but I am a bit concerned. My bite, which was positioned at the knuckle between my index finger and my middle finger, disappeared a while ago, yet I still get some itchiness and redness near my middle finger knuckle. I don't have any symptoms of Lyme and haven't had since the bite, so I was wondering if this is something to worry about or not. The itchiness and redness comes on suddenly and go away just as suddenly. Scratching it doesn't seem to make it worse, although I try to refrain from doing it too much. One of my main concerns was that maybe the Lyme bacteria are hiding in that joint and occasionally irritate the skin? I've had no pain from the area. Your opinions and advice is appreciated.
