Best treatment for Rocky Mountain spotted fever

I have Babesia and Rocky Mountain spotted fever and trying to find what antibiotics have helped for both of these confections ?

RMSF should respond to any of the macrolides but Babesia is a different story. Mepron is the drug of choice, but it costs a fortune and will require at least 4 months of treatment. Drug resistance has been seen in Mepron so herbal agents (or another antibiotic) should be added to help prevent resistance. Zithromax or Biaxin will help the Mepron.
