I have lyme?

Hi all! I am new to this forum. I have been experiencing bizarre symptoms for 11 months. After my mom got diagnosed with lyme, I decided to look into getting tested as well. I have had every symptom under the sun. Lately its been random head pains. Not really a headache-more like stings here and there in my brain. I got my results from IGENEX today and here are the results. Could my head-pains be from the lyme? Do I really have it? I checked the new to lyme and compared the bands. thank you guys!

Hi Lymie! Sorry to hear that have Lyme too... I just recently signed up here and it's a great place for support and advice, and knowledge. As I'm new myself, I cannot offer alot of advice, but I can tell you that yes, those pains in your head are from Lyme for sure!

Just like ToddPaul asked, do you have an LLMD? Also, have you ready the New to Lyme threads on this forum? They are extremely helpful and full of good information for you and your support system at home.

I was also told I had had white matter lesions (well I think the neuro called them white spots) but he dismissed them as being related to my periodic migraines. Maybe I should now get the records from him including the MRI to take to an LLMD when I can get into see one.

Hi Roxie. They are also called hyperintensities or white spots like your neuro said. They are related to migraines, however they are also widely related to lyme. Definitely take the records to the llmd. I personally don't get migraines, and never had them.I started getting headaches, and got an mri. My doc said these findings are irrelevant. However, after I tested positive for lymes- things are becoming clearer!
