I took Adderall years ago. It worked then, but I personally wouldn't take it now, or recommend it to anyone who could have lyme/co, or any issue with the heart and/or central nervous system (cns).
Since Adderall is basically speed, this could be harmful to anyone with health issues. This is on a website:
"You should not use Adderall if you have glaucoma, severe anxiety or agitation, or a personal or family history of tics (muscle twitches) or Tourette's syndrome".
I know that Adderall may be helpful (for healthy people) with getting much needed energy, but the issues that could come up with adding/aggrivating other health issues might not be worth the energy. Plus, in my opinion, if you take a drug to give you energy, you will therefore be more active than what you would normally, without the drug. In doing this, you could possibly tax your system without realizing it and cause further issues. This would be like a bandaid, but do more harm than good.
Take my words to heart, as they are my experience and personal opinion. I hope it helps. I really hope you get the energy you need in supportive ways.
