It all depends what your immediate goal is. If you have insufferable symptoms and desperately need relief, then, by all means, do NOT make the water too hot, as this will cause accelerated die-off and create even more toxin release into your body. If your symptoms are mild, and you want to push the envelope a bit, then you may desire to accelerate the overall process by slowly raising the temperature of your bath water. You will still detox, but you will also be accelerating the die-off of the bacteria. You may also notice that your symptoms may become worse if you do not detox effectively.
Here is a link to a "protocol" that I devised to eliminate my daughter's hypersensitivity in her right arm when she was sick. Failure to exactly follow my recommendations may result in failure, and/or may make you feel a lot worse than before you tried the protocol. Beware. some members have attempted to take shortcuts and have experienced both of these outcomes. On the other hand, my daughter's longstanding hypersensitivity was quickly, completely, and permanently eliminated.

Consideration of the results of this experiment (see link) along with several other factors that I expressed in my protocol explanation provided the basis for my approach. I didn't use silver, but instead used other antimicrobials of my own choice.
