I forgot to mention that I talked to a seller about their use with Lyme and I was thinking of the mini mat. He told me that the professional model is a better for use with chronic illnesses since your whole body is on it.
I just wanted to pass that on to you in case it makes a difference in your choice.

They aren't cheap, but they do help a lot with pain and stiffness, and maybe kill off some of the herd. I don't know if I have a flu bug or what this week, but I've had a lot of pain all over and 2 or 3 times on the mat with high heat has helped a lot. I'm not feeling it much today.
