Yes, uncomfortable feeling. Pressure equalizes which be briefly painful. I also have permanent tinitus.

Yes, I have a lot of weird things going on with my ears, even certain people's tones make my ears vibrate. I have had sharp pain and pressure, volume changes and a little crackling sound like someone is hitting 2 pieces of glass together. Even sometimes I hear my heart beating in my ears.

Yes. I have pressure, itching, pain, tinnitus, and now vertigo...and all the tests are normal/nothing to explain any of my symptoms. Therefore, I figure it must be the Lyme...and may also be a bit of a fungal sinus infection. The itching may also be allergic, as I'm quite allergic to dust & pollens...

Yes Razzle is spot on. For me I noticed these problems during yeast/Candida outbreaks. It was mostly just ear pressure, but would occasionally erupt into something that was like a pre-sinus or ear infection. I was on a rough IV ABX, combined with an oral ABX at the time so this is to be expected I guess.
Anyway, if you are also on ABXs, Im guessing its the yeast thats causing this. To help with this, I took the probiotic called saccharomyces boulardii, which really annihilated the yeast. I then spot treated my ears using garlic oil and a Q-tip. By very carefully coating the inside of my ear canals with this oil, all of my pain/pressure was eventually gone. If your sinuses become infected, you can also gargle with garlic water too. This is an old home remedy trick for ear infections and it really worked for me.
Please try this and let me know if it works for you
