Plaquenil question

Has anyone here been on Plaquenil to treat cystic form of lyme?

I've been on it for a month and my night sweats returned just a few days after i started taking it. They had gotten better, but now they are almost nightly and more intense.
Am also on mepron, 2teaspoons, 2 times a day, Zithromax and omnicef all twice a day as well.
I'm so tired from these night sweats and usually wake up around 4 in the morning drenched and can't go back to sleep. Then the next day, I feel like I've been hit by a truck. When will this end? Any hope or experience anyone can share would be very helpful.

I am currently on Plaquenil 400mg at night for connective tissue issues. I have also been on meprom and Zithromax and Omnicef. Sorry to say but they can all cause night sweats. It is a good thing but it sucks really really bad. My advice is to have a change of clothes right next to your bed. Also, try not to have heavy blankets on you, wear loose cotton pj's and socks if the light blankets aren't enough. I couldn't stomach meprom, especially while taking Zithromax. In my opinion that might be too much for you body at once, causing your intense night sweats. Hope I could be of some

It might be herxing. I herxed really bad with Plaquenil about 2 weeks and night drenching got worse. I've been on it for 2.5 months. I didn't have night sweats for a while and had them again last night. I started Grapefruit extract and am wondering if the immune boost caused herxing. I received Plaquenil as a immunity modulator/ant inflammatory and in case I have a Parasitic infection as well as its an anti-parasitic med. I have Tinidazole for the cystic form.
