I have Adderall for ADD issues. Before I knew I was dealing with LD/co, I would take one once in a while and it did help with my concentration. Now I am not taking it due to heart palpatations from the LD/co. In my opinion, if one is dealing with heart issues, a stimulant could be adding to the issue.

If the ADD med is not a stimulant, say Wellbutrin, I don't know if that would be a problem due to the lyme, but if it's not a stimulant, if it helps with concentration, then that might be ok. I'm not a dr, of course, so maybe asking a llmd/llnd might be in order so one doesn't run into other health issues.

My Lyme Dr. Wanted to prescribe Welbutrin. I see a psychiatrist for Post Traumatic SD. She did an ADD test because of my lack of focus with Lyme and it came back positive. She prescribed me Adderall to try. First she prescribed another ADD med but I had a lot of side effects from it. I've barely used the adderall as I came down with a urinary infection and was allergic to the antibiotic and wasn't sure if I reacted to antibiotic or Adderall. Just have a hard time adding another med since I'm taking 4 antibiotics and so many supplements plus Pristiq for PTSD. I'm still on the fence whether I want to take the Adderall. You could try though and see if it helps you...
