Yes,here I am again talking about GLME

My wire haired dachshund,Nell, has been refusing to climb stairs recently and that along with the fact that she has lost lots of fur on her tummy made my vet think that it was Cushing.

After loads of tests,it turns out that she has arthritis and this is causing stress which explains the hair loss.

Anyway,guess what she has to take?..................yes Green Lipped Mussel extract

The stuff is amazing for bones and muscles,I am the living proof and hopefully my little " Nelly Poo" will also start to respond soon.

Now we both smell fishy LOL.

I always forget my dr to aks about it... can I ask what brand you use - I have to place an order through iherb, and I would like to add it. Is there something I need to keep in mind, additives I need to avoid? Does it have to be produced in a certain part of the world to be the best?

I'm not taking it though if it'll make me smell like a fish market... ;)

Marie, I get my GLME from Kräuterhaus Sanct Bernhard which is available on amazon.de.

All the mussels are harvested off the coast of New Zealand which has some of the cleanest waters on the planet.

As to smelling like fish No! the capsules pong somewhat but they're fairly neutral taste wise.

Roots, Yes,they have most definitely contributed in erradicating my Lyme arthritis,my feet are 95% OK,I still have a wonky index finger on my left hand,but who cares?

This is a person who couldn't stand, let alone walk.I think I'll be taking GLME for a long time to come, just to try and offset the effects of aging..........I'm no spring chicken.
