Jas- hope this is your post you asked about
?
Pins and needles feel can sometimes be from muscle knots expanding on / entraping the nerve shieths. But lyme does wierd things just to nerves also. I can temporaily fix my nerve pain that is associated from knots by the ART I mentioned in the other thread. I've had this for years, so ART might work better the less time of infection.
To detect knots yourself- If you roll around on a tennis ball (under your glutes and thighs (hamstrings), there sould be no pain or lumpy feel in the muscle. A la cross ball is better, but possibly more painful if you have knots. If you start gently working these areas the knot should eventually "melt" with sustained pressure of 5 min - that is not ART, but myofacial release. Its hard to do ART yourself, and difficult to explain. Dont get to sore doing this, you will be sore before you feel better and it should have time to partially heal 2 days between sesions. I do this every day on some part. I have very slow improvements, I was doing this before ABX and Lyme Diagnosis.
In my case it did help nerve pain too, but not the burning in my feet which is very spuratic in nature and bothersome.
