Hey guys I have a question.. I heard if you don't follow your antibiotics at the same time everyday they can be come resistance.. which has me worried... I was taking my antibiotics at the same time everyday, but recently I have been having a lot of work, and stuff that has been switching my sleeping schedule around... So I've still be taking all my stuff... but sometimes it's at different times... and I'm worried about resistance.. Any thoughts?

I would think that if you take the prescribed dose at equally spaced intervals to maintain maximum blood levels you should be OK. Also if you miss a dose now and then it should be no big deal since treatment is usually long term vs normal short term conventional ABX treatment.

Just make sure to space out your probiotics and magnesium supplements away from your ABX times.

I wouldn't worry. every drug has a half life, so it stays in your bloodstream long enough so that as along as you keep taking them everyday, the levels will remain high enough. I spoke to two LLMDs and they said that there is no worry when it comes to Lyme becoming resistant to antibiotics b/c it has not been around too long.
