Just wondering how many of you have dilated pupils as a lyme & company symptom....? I've read online that this can be caused (in lyme) by brain and optic nerve inflammation.
I've noticed that my pupils have been consistently dilated for about
the past six months. Some days are worse than others, obviously. And then there are times when I look in the mirror and think, "Holy crap...!" Those are the times when I can barely see the color of my iris. My pupils are so large at times that they look like the eyes of a shark. lol
I'm also pretty light sensitive... have been for several years now. And sometimes when I look at something "bright" on a sunny day, I have "after effects" on my vision. For example: when I turn away from the bright object, I notice that I'll have a large patch of discoloration in my field of vision... usually green or pink. It's as though I'm looking through colored sunglasses, except that I'm not wearing sunglasses... and the object I was looking at was neither of those colors. The visual disturbance can last up to an hour or more after going back in the house. Maybe this is rod and cone sensitivity in the eyes.
It's the wonderful weirdness of lyme disease.
