Even though I say LLMDs piss me off, that does not mean IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM that I agree with the medical establishment ..

What is going on in this country with doctors, pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, etc is criminal

And when we, the educated patient, enter their world armed with more knowledge then they regarding these conditions, it bothers them ...

But when they realize that we - a large population - are educated and we SEE THRU their BS, then change will start to occur ...

Chloe, it is very interesting that you ask - "Where are all the people who have healed" ?

I have often wondered this, and that is why I like coming here to this forum - there are great posters here who are well and they share their stories and their knowledge ....

Unfortunately, they seem to be in the minority ...

Most people simply want to put it behind them and move on as if it were an inconvenience in they life ...

I do not share that view, and the idea that others are going misdiagnosed and suffering really upsets me ...

YES, it is a dreadful experience ... however, for me, I will take this experience and give it a purpose ... When I was first suffering REALLY BAD, I was constantly wondering "WHY ME, WHY ME ?" .......... and then I realized the answer was because I have always been a dedicated and sensitive person, to all living things .... And I will take this experience and, in turn, support others and help them get well also ...

It is up to us -- the conscientious and caring individuals -- to get well, and then to pass that gift of health on to those who are suffering ...

Unfortunately, most doctors don't feel that way ... actually, I wonder sometimes if doctors feel anything ...

No- no one has any obligation to come back to post after they have healed, or even while they are healing. Most are just so glad to get their life back and don't want to have to even think of having gone through such a hard time. I'm still in contact with quite a few people that have come and gone through this forum..... and are out living their lives, raising their children and whatever else.

I do try to keep posting success stories for members that are still here to help encourage those that are still here and trying to heal. And of course, I'm a big mouth about my healing.....

As you know, I agree. I have met and made some very wonderful friends due to this site and I'll forever be grateful!! I've learned sooo very much since being here and even more since becoming a Mod - a lot more than information about tick-borne infections!

So while I personally will never consider talking with others with these infections an obligation - no one is ever held to "passing it forward", although I always hope they will. BUT - imagine the impact we could have if everyone just helped 2 other people learn about these infections!

hi everyone, hey traveler did you see where I am doing better on the Iv peroxide,magnesium and manganese. taking antifungals md said I was full of systemic yeast after months of antibiotics. I am doing so much better. I remember all your supportive emails and they got me thru so much suffering when I never thought I could improve.

Don't give up everyone. I am healing but have a ways to go. but I can do chores now, and I am working with my horse doing ground work which doesn't require me to only stand in the center of a round pen and direct her. I have been sick for years and now I feel I am finding the answers. I was told i had fibromyalgia, doped up told I was crazy. It was hell. I feel my own research on my computer saved my life. I am a RN which a medical background helps a lot too. but you can be your own advocate and print anything you see online, and take to your doctor, be specific, and don't let some of them with the " God syndrome " tell you what to do when you don't feel comfortable with it.

Mystery1, I cannot tell you how great it is to hear that you have made progress !!!!

Remember, my sis did the hydrogen peroxide IVs for 18 months, so hang in there are keep going !

I'm so glad that you are finding the answers that you needed! And thank you for your kind words. I can still remember all too well how it feels to suffer with the effects of these infections - it's what keeps me from actually leaving this forum!! LOL!

And yes, Tano - I got your email. I wasn't concerned about getting mug shots from you - should I be? LOL!!!

And I agree with what WWJD said - " we're all an inspiration". The strength that you all show here - going through treatments, going through times with no progress, having difficulties with healing or your treatments or your doctors - and not only still pushing through, but continuing to take on life!!! Going to your kid's functions or caring for sick kids/spouses/parents, getting the food not only in the house, but on the table .....and continuing on. What strength and inspiration you all are!!
