In a couple weeks, I will finally be seeing a LLND for Igenex testing. I feel like I'm going for a job interview - that how present myself determines the outcome....
So, keep in mind, this is a Canadian LLND - even though we are coming along with recognizing and treating Lyme, I don't think we're up to speed yet with the US.
I guess I'm getting defensive now when i go to the Docs and I tell them about my symptoms...I feel like they're thinking that I really don't have anything wrong with me - other than my shoulder/arm injury that apparently will get better with time.
So, do I just bring in a list and rattle off all my symptoms - or choose the top 10? or have it in chronological order - some have come and gone...do I mention those?
BTW - I look totally healthy - and I look real good on paper.
I don't have anything measurable that points to Lyme - no heart issues, nothing on brain MRI, no inflammation, no liver issues, no gut issues....
Is it a good idea to bring in my husband - he wants to sit in the appointment with me...he says in case it's going in the wrong direction, he can validate what I'm saying....
Why do I feel like I'm on trial and having to plead my case? This is soooo wrong.
