Interesting article, and sheds some light on the difficultly in treating infections ..

I want to believe progress is being made in these fields, and this sounds promising ( even though the cynic in me is thinking "yeah, right" lol )

Thank you for sharing. Indeed, it sounds promising and a very viable solution to treating infections. Much of the article resonates with us Lymies since we deal with biofilms quite a bit.

It has been said that bacterial resistance increases each day and if this treatment was to become available, it would resolve that problem and would maintain the effectiveness of today's antibiotic arsenal.

Yes, thanks. Interesting. At least people are working on this stuff. There is another good article out there about a new antibiotic to treat MRSA. It's got a much longer half life so you only have to take one dose. They need something similar for lyme
