i went to see a infectionist.

i told him about my DFM ( dark field microscopy test) - spirochetes, bartonella, mycoplasma, anaplasma.

he said " i don t consider it, you have to to other test"..

i said " why? i paid for the DFM 40 euro and you cand see all i have"

he replyed " is not good test, you have to do thos ones....

i was like.." haaa? 700 euro?????

so , as you see dear lyme friends, it a big business behind !!!

Yup - it's an expensive disease.

Besides the testing, and the treatments....some of us are losing wages because we're too sick to work.

darn. This seems to go with my post above about the doctor (well the potential for) scammers. I'm sorry you went through that. What test was this doc recommending you have?

well...maybe that is the real costs of it. western blot, some test in Germany...anyways, i have a lot of it. i think i v no choice.

what s next? " but this drugs???

of course! it s a shame that in the hospital they don t take if for serious and i have to go on private.

and guess what!! i waited about 2 weeks to see this doctor! nice business....
