Interesting article as I am still getting educated about
Lyme controversy. A question: If you are on antibiotics and doing everything right what are the chances you don't have Lyme? For example, it seems that many people don't get the confirmed blood work. They get diagnosed based on symptoms. At one point should a doctor look into other potential health issues not related to Lyme?
I get that it's such a grey area. I'm just trying to understand myself, especially as a newbie to this. An example. My Elisa was .91. If my Western Blot and co infections come back negative I am really questioning whether to ask for the DFM or ask if I can get started on antibiotics. And yet if the antibiotics aren't working at one point do I question a "diagnosis?"
I really feel the pain around here. This is so hard. One the one hand we are our best advocates. On the other at what point could we be wrong (being overly invested and all)
