SLF FORTE'

I just wanted to see if anyone is taking this. It's for liver support and my daughter was put on it since her blood test was high for her liver. She took one pill and her headache started going in waves, being her typical headache to being a very bad headache, up and down like that through the day. I don't know if it's clearing her liver or if her body doesn't like something in it. Her thyroid level was high too, so her doc ordered another blood test to investigate. I had her quit taking it until I talk to the doc since it was too much for her to go through.

It was hard to hear the results since she had some good improvements over the winter. Her liver levels being up could be from her using the biomat on high for an hour each time, maybe 2 or 3 times a week. It may have killed more critters than her body could handle. We hope it's a simple answer like that.

Thank you Razzle. You'd think her doc would know that! I'll bring it up to him and I'll have to read up on how much is too much for her condition. It's a good thing I haven't been using any kelp. She didn't take any more, even though she wanted to try again just once more, but I encouraged her to wait. I got a call from his office yesterday, telling me to switch her to silymarin (sp?), so I'll pick that up today. Poor gal, such a rough day.

I also found out her last blood didn't show any problems. I think he was looking for autoimmune problems for one thing. We'll talk about it more at her next appt. I'm glad the tests were negative, but it would be nice to have an anwer about why her thyroid is high.
