Few questions regarding lyme and pregnancy

Hi everyone
I just wondered if any of you have had lyme disease whilst being pregnant . If so were you treated ? With what ? Doseage ?
If you wasn't how did things turn out?
Anybody considering pregnancy? If so will you be on antibiotics? Thanks xx

Not sure about treatment while pregnant, but be sure to have the baby tested after birth. Find an LLMD who can refer you to a good pediatric llmd if you need one. Not sure how young they treat infants. Prayers to you all that everything is well.

I have also heard that while you are pregnant - amoxicillin is the way to go.

All practioners I was seeing for lyme agreed that I did not need to be on any medication while I was pregnant. I became pregnant about 7 months after finishing antibiotics. I did not have lyme symptoms though I would still argue that it took a couple months after for healing. So far so good for me.

I am going to get the blood cord tested through Igenex. My husband was never treated so that is obviously still a concern. And if it is positive at this point, I had a good team to treat me so if the lil' one ever shows symptoms I will be heartbroken, but prepared.
