I just received word that my husband and oldest son also have Lyme. It's kind of strange, I really expected my youngest to have it the most. I see so many red flags with the youngest. Yeah, now we can all commensurate as a family. (sarcasm)

So sorry to hear that. May I ask what were the symptoms that your son was/is experiencing? I ask, because I believe my 2 kids (along with my husband) may also have Lyme. What are your kids ages? What lab did you use for the Lyme test?

Hi cccmama3000, we used Igenex for the testing. My children are 12 and 13.
My youngest has really sweaty hands and feet ALL the time. Both kids have days that they just crash on the couch in the middle of the day. Both kids have difficulty sleeping. Each one complains about
different pains. Oldest knees pop incredibly loud. Oldest has memory issues. Youngest seems like he's not on top of things the way he used to be. Processing speed of my youngest seems to have declined. He also has lost some of his dexterity in his hands and has lost some of his coordination.
I'm sure I'm not listing everything, but it's what comes to mind at the moment.
I hope this helps:)

Now you need to investigate the coinfections. Lyme rarely travels alone, sorry to say.

Not to be negative but just because your youngest's test was negative doesn't mean he doesn't have it.

cccmama3000, I have no idea for children that small. I have to start researching Lyme in children myself. I would suggest talking to a Lyme Literate Doctor at your earliest convenience. Start a new tread asking who to see and in what state of the country. There are a ton of very knowledgeable people in this community and they are more than happy to help.
Best of luck!
Traveler, LOL!!!
Hubby just came home from a business trip. I told him he has Lyme and I have to see a Hematologist. I should have taken a picture of his face. I didn't want to tell him over the phone while he was traveling.
