Hey guys,

I have been having a new symptom lately. Maybe someone here can relate. So i find myself getting chills and at the same time my back and back of legs feel like they are burning! Hot and cold at the same time. HELL!! Any input on how to relieve the burning?

Sounds like it could be neuropathy. I get those warm burning sensations in my feet sometimes. It has gotten much better with new abx though. What are you taking?

I'm not taking anything yet, im waiting on an appointment with a Lyme doc my symptoms started Feb 2014.

One of my worst symptoms is burning skin. Feels like I have a permanent sunburn. Some days it's worse than others but not gone yet.

Could be lyme, Bart or heavy metal toxicity.

Sounds like neuropathy. It feels like you have Icy-Hot or Ben-gay on your skin right?! Annoys the crap outta me too! There is another post going on right now if you want to check out in the forum for more tips/details.

Thank you all for your replies. This crap is kicking my butt and the most frustrating part is that i am undiagnosed. Interesting the comment about heaby metal toxicity. Ive never thought of that one. I am also looking into mold poisoning, as I did have mold in my house a few years ago. I go back to the infectious disease doc on Nov 11th to get results of blood tests (she took 8 vials). Some days i feel good, other days I wanna crawl into a hole and die.

How can one feel relatively normal one day, and so bad the next day??

I had a super toxic house. It was infested with mold, not the kind you can see. But it was behind walls and releasing toxins in the air, like 100 times worse than a sick building. A full remediation brought me from deaths door to semi functional. Then I took out one silver filling. I had a knee that I could no longer straighten out, and I was like limping around, return to almost normal. The filling was like a little dot. I have a few giant fillings to go. So I read that lyme doesn't heal when you are mercury toxic, which is why I'm on hold for lyme and getting rid of the fillings, but it's a slow and expensive process. I've read that burning skin is more of a metal toxicity issue than lyme, which is why I'm focusing on it. Plus one of the protocols had removing metal as the first step before lyme treatment.

So if i dont have lyme, but some sort of mercury poisoning could this show as a band 31 ++++ on the iGenex testing? Im confused, because heavy metal poisoning is not a virus, and my blood tests showed some specific lyme bands ?

so sorry you are experiencing burning sensations

it stinks, i had it for months from my face to my toes

then, i had no idea what it was from

it went away after 7 months, so since u are seeing a dr. hang tight you will get some resolve soon

i dont know if taking showers helps, where u gaugge the temp, cool water, i know it is on the inside, but it helped me get through it....

I'm also IGM band 31+ that is my only positive band, which is considered lyme positive by IGNEX. I think I had a bullseye a few years back but was totally healthy and got incredibly sick seemingly out of nowhere last winter. I think while I have lyme, it isn't the major issue or I can't get well because my body is so toxic with other things. I had toxic mold spores in my house in the hundreds of thousands, while normal is like 500 or less. This exposure was for over a decade. I was dry heaving so violently each morning for hours, since March. That went away after remediation. I had other bizzare symptoms get better or clear after remediation but I still have major symptoms. The mold is gone but I'm not sure it hasn't completely left my body.

Now working on mercury with a holistic dentist. I have a few fillings to go. You can have a hair test to treat for metals.

I started off treating lyme and just got worse so I think I have to clear these other things out of the way first. That is just what I think I have to do to get well.
