This is kind of weird....but I want to share.
When I first suffered the radiculpathy - upper left side of my back, it started just to the right of my left shoulder blade.
Several months later..my husband noticed a little spot in the area...looked like a black-head..so he squeezed it and this whitish string came out - about
an inch long.
Very strange, because I don't ever have pimples/blackheads...even when I went thru puberty.
So periodically, he would check it and squeeze it. He said it seemed like it was never-ended...really deep.
Then it sort of sealed over and it then a little bump started to grow. I went to my Dr. and she said it was a sebaceous cyst. I questioned her because it started out as no bump...just a hole that had "stuff" in it. She said they can get infections. The treatment was for her to cut it out surgically. I declined at the time. She told me not to squeeze it, as it would just make it more difficult to remove.
My husband said "no way - it's not a cyst". He was hoping she would just drain it.
Because of the site - I asked my LLND - is it possible that's where the tick attached? He just laughed...shrugged me off...I think he thought I was joking. (But I was dead-serious)
So, it's been getting bigger...I can't reach it well...and my husband wouldn't touch it anymore.
I'm in the shower today..and the water is hitting it as usual...but it's stinging...like it's hitting a nerve.
So, when I get out I look at it with the side mirrors..and reach my hand back and just lightly touch it..and it explodes - with thick stuff..then I squeeze it...and about
three or four big hard cores come out, along with blood and pus. (sorry for being so graphic)
So, I've done my best to put a band aid on it...hubby will have to tend to it later - hard spot to reach for me.
Is it related at all to my nerve pain in that area? just coincidence? But, I never get pimples/zits. I think it's very bizarre.
Nonetheless - my Dr. is not good at diagnosing....I'm glad i didn't let her cut it out. I'm pretty sure it's not a cyst....

I'm thinking thats where the tick attached...and part if it was still in there...and my body finally got rid of it...
that's my story...stickin' to it.

That is what I would think also, hope you got it all out so it doesn't do it again.

It's where my pain initially started...and is still with me...it's such an odd coincidence...

My initial pain over a year ago...the symptom that started it all - stabbing pain in that spot...then after a few months started to subside...and then all of a sudden it turned into nerve pain at the same time I got nervous system vibrations throughout my body.
After that, symptom after symptom appeared....
Chapelle - if you're back on here - you mentioned a pimple when you first got bit...

Yes, Mike - I'm hoping all the bacteria left my body through that hole in my back today....hahaha.
