Herbs are easier to dose at levels that minimize herxing. They can be adjusted up and down very easily - drops of tinctures, a little more or less powdered herb or tea.

Although our daughter tested negative for B duncani and B microti through Igenex and didn't herx with malarone, she did have a significant babesia herx with the combination CSA (cryptolepis/sida/alchornea) tincture as I was ramping her dosages.

If not for that herx we would not know that she is dealing with babesia and that this was the reason why she didn't improve to 100% with bartonella treatment alone.

My worst herxes by far has been with a natural product called monolaurin. I've only tried Doxy and Rifampin though so I can't say it would beat all abx but I can't imagine herxing any harder. A few people have told me it saved their life so I'm going to try and stick with it and just go real slowww.

Hard to say because I started with antibiotics and my bacterial load was higher. I like the herbs much better,if I herx too much, I just lower the dose a few days.
Herbs are much more kinder to the body. They are pals working together to make us healthy. Antibiotics, not the case.

I've been on a lot of different antibiotics for many years as well as herbs. My most violent herx reaction has been from A-Bab, the Byron White formula. I had to increase dosage by fractions of drops.
