Has Anyone here got fully cured by this stupid disease??

Have been on abx for week now and i havent seen a massive difference not even herx like symptoms.Is this stupid thing even curable my doc says 1 year and u will be fine.

Also i got bursitis on both my hips is it possible for lyme to be responsible for it??

When do you start to notice any changes like how many weeks or months on abx??

Something else you need to understand is that this is a very slow replicating bacteria - instead of taking hours or days to replicate, the Lyme bacteria only replicated once every 4 -6 weeks - so one week in treatment won't show much improvement or herxing, unless you happened to start just before the next replication of bacteria - but that rarely happens.

Also, although some docs may be fairly accurate in their guesstimates - no one can tell you how long it will take for you to heal. There are just too many variables like co-infections of tick-borne infections, viral infections, protozoa infections (like Babesia & others), as well as things like co-conditions (leaky gut, adrenal issues, thyroid issues and more), and some people have issues with being able to detox well enough that will complicate the healing process.

I forgot to add two things. First, Lyme is an inflammatory disease. There is inflammation in between your cells, so inflammation can easily show up in any part of the body.

I have been healed from these infections. I had two very good symptom free years -then I developed Addison's due to a ton of very difficult stress, and developed a hypothyroid condition (although I healed from Hashimoto's thyroiditis when the Lyme healed), and then, just this year, back in June I believe, I was reinfected with Lyme disease, so I'm now back in treatment. But I will heal yet again (I'm starting to feel a real difference now) and will be back at it soon!

yes. First I got really mad and went into denial...for about a week. LOL! Then I got mad at myself for doing that, and got started on my herbs again and now I'm finally feeling like I will be healed again soon.

Yes, I do - fortunately!! But I'm also dealing with Addison's and low thyroid now too, so I have different things to deal with this time. Surely we wouldn't want me to become bored with treatments, right? LOL!!

Already? LOL!! I've been back on my herbs for 3 months now! I actually thought I'd see improvements before this as with a 40+ yr infection I saw improvements in my symptoms in 3 months - but, I also wasn't dealing with Addisons, jaw issues, and low thyroid - it was a whole other set of issues that came along for the ride! LOL!

But thank you. I've been detoxing like a mad woman and sticking closely to my treatments - all of them.

Be patient it will happen. I've been treating almost a year now and I feel wonderful. I've been sick for so long I didn't know what we'll was but I have more good days now then bad and a lot of days I don't need pain pills. I clean homes and offices for a living, I can clean 2 huge homes and have no pain or not even the feeling like I just did something.

I've treated with A-L complex and multiple ANX.

I know someone that is near symptom free for 6 months now.

Hip bursitis- This can help!!:

I have that (and had tendonitis all over at one point). My outer hips are tight every morning-and that contributes to low back tightness.

My morning routine -After a warm, then cold shower (it helps), I lay on one side (hip) at a time (on a carpeted floor) with a lacross ball under the tight hip area for 20 seconds. This is so instantly soothing once you roll off the ball. A tennis ball is to soft for the tight hip muscles. Then my low back is better too.
