Where I was two years ago

So here I am, currently Nov 2014....pregnant a bit of placenta brain and I lost my lab notebook at work...(this is not even close to lyme brain though!) I started rummaging cleaning through my work drawers and I found this...lol oh and I also eventually found my lab notebook.

Little did I know that a herx reaction could be extreme anxiety or even what a herx was. This story of exactly how 'nuts' I went is somewhere on Healing well. I remember it being quite bad. I went back to tracing my health and with the help of Traveler and others on here figured out it was lyme pretty fast. There were so, so many more issues then the skin infections...

I have been off of treatment for lyme for whew...16 months (?) and am expecting my little one's arrival in 6 weeks. I'm going to be a mom in 6 freakin' weeks! I now have an Igenex kit all ready also to send his blood cord off in.

Thanks to the help of binduspire I found an herbal school and am going to class for that currently and starting next fall I plan on doing an apprenticeship with a nearby herbalist. I am working full-time. Thanks to ebay and some other crafty avenues I was able to pay off all my medical debt. I have enough now to pay off all my credit cards but am holding onto it until the little one's arrival in case I need the funds.

I should be able to pay off my student loans within a year and a half as well. I guess the point of this post is that you really can bounce back pretty fast. Two years seems like a long time, I know. And for many it won't be two years, some more, some less... but that doesn't mean that once you are on the upwards trend of health that things will also start bouncing back too.

I'm sorry I haven't been on the forum as much lately to help out but there are a lot of things that can no longer wait with the baby coming so soon. And I must say I never thought I would have as many dr appointments when I had lyme - I was wrong there. Every week to the dr? For a baby? When everything is fine with us? At least it is a wellness visit!
