Actually, Doxy treats Lyme, Ehrlichia and Anaplasma infections - so depending on how long and what dose you have been on, it may be a good choice.

If you have a choice, I would treat Bart first with some ABX combo with Rifampin. I have seen Zith, Doxy and Rif combos, or switch Zith for Plaquenil as a good start. I was on the first combo for round one vs Bart, and mino, plaquenil, and Rif for Bart Part II. Bactrim DS is also used for Bart when Rif is not well tolerated.

Some say if you treat Babs first with Mepron or Malarom, it reduces the effectiveness of Rifampin later on.
