Yeah I didn't start out treatment with pulsing and was also skeptical of it but the idea behind it is:
Lyme is a slow growing organism, pulse therapy includes:
a) Pulsing to avoid over toxicity, but allow higher dose and or larger number of synergistic antibotics without toxicity
b) Week off to allow immune system to strengthen
c) Allow cysts forms or hard to access forms to come out and therefore be killed
d) Slow growing Lyme has 4 week lifecycle so by skipping a few days or even a week, the Lyme can still be killed.
c) Many ways to pulse, some use MWF; some use 3 days in a row. Everyone has their reasons but there are clearly many effective approaches as these clinicians who pulse are all well known for effective treatments.
So in short, you are letting your immune system take over slowly or at least start to recognize the bacteria.
Utahgal, for detoxing I have been taking Epsom salt and H2O2 baths, infrared sauna soaks, massages (occasional, expensive), atz spray, lemon water, dandelion tea, milk thistle, green smoothies and areobic exercising.
Margaret, ha, yes 7 days to a week but I skip an entire work week that has a weekend at the beginning and end, so 2+5+2.
