Positive c diff

Went off 10 days ago after 6 weeks iv vanco, iv Invanz, and tindemax.after what I thought was a stomach virus ( which it still could be) dr tested me for c diff just to rule it out. Now after positive test dr wants to use abx to control bacteria caused by the other abx?

Another option is using sachromyces boulardii. That helps prevent and even resolve a c.diff infection. But you may need to be on it for awhile all while taking probiotics.

Your case doesn't make sense to me, I thought docs use vancomycin to treat c.diff? They may also want to use Flagyl I think.

That's what I read about vanco. Maybe the mixture of vanco,Invanz and tindemax caused it. Not looking forward to the flagyl
