Which coinfections do you have? Were they lab positive or a clinical diagnosis? What meds do you take for them, and do they work?

My symptoms are: anxiety/panic, weakness, brain fog, hair loss, insomnia, feeling run down

So far, I have.....

1. Lyme (lab positive)... Treated unsuccessfully with mino and tindamax, I also tried doxy and flagyl

2. Chlamydia pneumonia (lab diagnosis) ....not started treatment yet

3. Mycoplasma (lab diagnosis).... Haven't started treatment yet

4. Coxsackie virus (lab).... Not started treatment

5. Ehrlichia (clinical).... Tried doxy/flagyl, switched to mino/rifampin.....no improvement.

I'm still wondering if I have babs or Bart. Labcorp test was negative.

I tested negative for Bartonella, although my Dr. clinically diagnosed me with it.

Bartonella, babesia, mycoplasma. The mycoplasma is a fairly new diagnosis- came up on a recent test. My doctor was not surprised but I was! After thinking about it, it makes a lot of sense.

I'm really sorry that you have Lyme and co-infections!!!

I tested negative through Quest for Anaplasma, Bartonella and Babesia.

My LLMD is treating me clinically for Bartonella and Babesia. I just started with Bartonella recently. It's too early to tell, except I have noticed my symptoms flaring.

I have to go somewhat slowly since it's hard for me to adjust to each med. I'm sure we will add something at my appointment this month.

I'm curious if I have any other co-infections. I may try to read up and see if the symptoms seem familiar. However, I'm sure I will be working on Bart for a while based on what I have read!

I hope you find a good combo of meds and start to see improvement soon! I think it just takes time. :)

I tested positive for Lyme and my doctor and myself are pretty sure I have babesia and bartonella (based on symptoms). Negative on all co-infection tests except mycoplasma (positive).

I have severe headaches which I think is from all three: Lyme, Bart, Babesia

I took my file and had a look.

I was tested for all of these infections:
Bartonella (PCR) - positive
XMRV - positive
Mycoplasma Pn. (PCR) - negative
later Mycoplasma Pn. sputum test - negative
Mycoplasma Pn. serology test - IgG highly positive
Mycobacterium Avium Paratuberculosis (PCR)(because I had a small parrot) - negative
Borrelia serology test - negative
Cytomegalovirus (PCR) - negative
EBV (PCR) - negative
EBV serology - IgM negative IgG postive
Human Herpesvirus 6 (PCR) - negative
Chlamydia Pn. (PCR) - positive
later again Chlamydia Pn. sputum test - negative
Anaplasma phagocytphilium - negative
Babesia PCR - negative
Babesia Fish - negative
Borrelia Immunoblot (again) - negative (only positive on band 41)
Borrelia PCR - negative
Borrelia LTT Elispot - positive
Ehrlichia chaffeensis PCR - negative
Ricketsia PCR - negative
Yersinia Enterocolitica (stool + serology) - positive - 2nd stool test negative - third blood serology test highly positive (means it has gone systemic)
Brucella PCR - negative

I haven't been tested for Tularemia, Coxellia
funds are gone... but my doc is thourough.

Thanks, Sarah! My son has all the symptoms, so if I was ever in doubt, now I am clear that he has Lyme, Barto and Babesia. I turn to God to have mercy on him, because all drs have failed us! I will take him to my LLMD on March 9th.
