So I started using Flaygl (500mg daily) this week. First time on this abx.
I have been severely Herxing since I started Flagyl! my LLMD told me to cut the dose in half.
Any body else this affected from Flagyl?

I know it is good that it is working but to much is not good either.

Never took it, but my LLMD always started with small doses of abx for me. He gave me written instructions on how to increase them. That is one part I really liked about him. I never felt worse while on abx or experience herx like other people. Maybe my body detoxes better on its own, I don't know.

I do think it helps to start slow and build up so that the body has a chance to get used to the drug. Do you take something else besides Flagyl?

I am not on any other abx, I was on Zithromax and Amox.
The plan was to pulse back and forth with the Flagyl.

I definitely herxed on the Flagyl, it's nasty tasting and glad I only had to pulse it. Now I'm going to do Tindamax in a few weeks, but trying to get thru Rifampin, herxing off it bad and not sleeping either. Bad combo, I love my sleep. Need to start adding Zithromax today but not sure if I will yet.
