Wild ~ No worries.... it all gets pretty confusing, doesn't it. Throw 2 cups of epsom salt and a 32 ounce bottle of 3% hydrogen peroxide (normal stuff from the grocery store) into your bath water and soak for 20-30 minutes. See if that helps at all.
re: the antidepressants.... oddly, I felt instantly (within 24 hours) better on medication. And I'm certainly a lot nicer to be around now, from other people's perspective. :) Not nearly as cranky and down as I used to be. Put it this way, "I" like "me" better now that I'm medicated.... and lord knows, I'm the one who has to spend the most time around me. lol
Re: the name, just know that it's "Lyme"... without the "S". Any time I hear a doctor call it "lymes" (with an "S"), I automatically assume he doesn't know much about
it, since he doesn't even know the actual name of it. :p
I think many doc's don't want to specialize in the treatment of lyme, nor get anywhere near someone with lyme disease because they may see us as a liability to their license to practice. Lots of lyme doc's have their license to practice either threatened or suspended for treating lyme patients "outside of the health insurance industry's 'standard of care' definition". aka ~ lyme doc's cost the insurance companies money ! And if everyone that had lyme was actually diagnosed... it would, without a doubt, BANKRUPT the insurance industry.
