Great "news".... the new lyme MD's nurse just called to say my lyme tests came back negative. I'm cured !!!! NOT !
I took the opportunity to educate her a little bit by saying, "Of course it's negative... because the doc sent it to an FDA approved lab that generates false negatives (I think it was Quest labs). I had asked him at the appt to send the blood work to Igenex in California, a non-FDA approved lab, that does PCR testing for lyme and co-infections and generates ACCURATE results."
I went on to state that, "....I learned from my naturopath that one should take teasel root tincture for 30 days prior to lyme & coinfection testing in order to draw the lyme & co. out of the tissues and into the bloodstream where they can be picked up on blood work. I had not done 30 days worth of teasel tincture prior to my appt because I didn't know the MD would be doing blood work. But, if you (the nurse) would like to tell him about
this, then I can visit with him about
it at my next appt on March 24th." Which she was willing to do.
And finally, I said, "....please know that I'm telling you these things (about
the teasel root tincture and lyme hiding in tissues and not being picked up on in blood work, and the Igenex lab) because I've learned this the hard way.... I'm not trying to tell the doc how to do his job but, if I can help to educate him a little bit, maybe give him some more ideas to research on his own, and that assists him in being able to better diagnose other people with lyme disease... then we ALL win."
The nurse said she'd visit with the doc about
what I told her and was very
open to listening to what I had to say.
*sigh* Back to my routine of raw garlic, colloidal silver, essential oils, enzyme supplements, teasel root tincture, and detox, detox, detox.
