I haven't posted much here in a while since I've started treatment, but now I've been researching more and have a question.
I've read that people with Bart have a high VEGF level.
I have Bart (or so I've been clinically diagnosed with it) and have lots of symptoms that point to it. However, a while back I had VEGF measured with some other bloodwork, and it was in the normal range. What does this mean?
Does it mean if you have a normal VEGF level, you definitely do not have Bart? Or is it just that SOMETIMES those of us with Bart have high VEGF? I was pretty sure I had it, but then remembered my normal levels (range was 31-86 and I was 61).
Confused!
