I just wanted to bump this link that was posted last March. Lots of really good tips on trying to treat dysautonomia.
I'm fairly certain this is why I have so many problems at night. My parasympathetic should be kicking in but my body is "stuck" in sympathetic mode. Sympathetic is the "fight or flight." It kicks in when we're under stress, which is exactly what Lyme does to our bodies. Sympathetic also controls blood vessel constriction, which may be the result of the "night numbness." I'm thinking it is causing those internal vibrations at night too. And it makes sense that one would have trouble sleeping when the body is in fight or flight mode.
