Thanks for those explanations, everyone!!! My brain goes to bed just before sunset right now!! LOL!
While I do agree that if Igenex is saying that Band 31 is significant in late Lyme that they have good reason, but now I have to go find out why!! LOL! I really don't like that part of me sometimes.

but it's that part of me that got the information that I needed to heal that first time around, several years ago now.
From what I understand, Lyme can go chronic (Late Lyme) in as little as 3 days for someone who has very little immune function and the body is battling too many other things. Although for many it's at least weeks/months or even years before Lyme will 'go chronic'.
But what we truly need is to find the studies that these LLMD's are getting this info from, otherwise it's really no better than 'hearsay', we have to take their word for it. And no matter how much I trust a doctor, their opinions get in the way too often.
My understanding about
the IgG and IgM is that the IgG represents a later response by the body, and an IgM represents an infection being currently fought by the body - but that may be old information and more up to date info could be out there. I honestly don't have time to spend searching for information any longer, I have to wait for it to come to me, so I find myself behind times more now. Sorry!!
