Full moon on the way!!

For those that don't know yet, for some a full moon creates a herx like reaction. The science on this is not known, and it doesn't hit everyone.

Those that it does affect, don't all have it affect them at the same time or in the same way. Some have increased symptoms in general, some experience only one or two symptoms increase. Some have a large increase and some only have a small increase in symptom intensity.

For some it starts days before the full moon, some only have issues the day of the full moon, some only have trouble the day of and after the full moon, while others have issues the whole week. Some only respond to some of the full moons.

The only things we know to do for this is to detox more and to plan for a "down day" during this time. So remember, this Saturday - April 4th is the "big day".

The (what do you call them?) ones that are closer to the earth are the ones that get me the worst. That was the last one, which, along with the solar eclipse (?) and massive solar flares (storms), probably didn't help.

Also, every police man or woman, along with any ER doc. can tell you that during the full moon is when they see the most cases.

I was in the ER during the last full moon, and there were tons of people there. Won't do it again.

Had a friend who was a police captain.

When I went with my friend to her LLMD, the doctor told her to take artemisinin during full moon time from 4-1 to 4-14-15 . Now I understand better after reading your comments. ( I may not have spelled that correctly). Soooo much to learn and sure don't understand it at all. Pat

I am already experiencing intense pain and fluish feeling these last 2 days and not sleeping. Not sure if a herx or what's going on but I can hardly stand it.

That's actually quite interesting, Pat. It seems to me that what's happening during the full moon is more of a herx, so adding in arteminisin (wormwood) would add to the issues, as it's one of the herbs that is used for treating a person for parasites.

There is a theory that during the full moon, a person with parasites will feel a lot worse due to parasitic activity increasing, so while adding the wormwood would make sense as far as treatments go, it would be counter productive during a herx in my opinion as it would increase the symptoms.

Watch your friend closely during full moons - and especially during any "super moon" (when the moon is quite close to the earth during a full moon) as her herxing could get quite intense. Of course we all hope it doesn't do this for her as we want her to have as smooth of a healing path as she can have since she is so ill.

You are doing such a very good thing here, Pat!! Helping this friend the way you do! I look forward to one day "meeting" her here on the forum!!! She must be a really special person to you. Please do let me know if I can be of any help to you and your friend!

Ah well... yet another reason for feeling this way... triple ugh!
I have been suffering with horrible pains in my thigh muscles the past few days... it feels like i rode a horse for a week. Every step i take is so painful... i am trying to not get depressed while bedridden... its tough to stay conscious of that... but i can't let this
thing win... i am grateful that the pain is minimal while laying down... will be even more grateful when it gets better so i can function a bit more.
