I want to have a web page where I can list all of my links - I have tons of them!! LOL! I've been collecting them for over 7 years now. I'm at a loss as to what would give me the most flexibility for adding and editing links and "general" information for Lyme though - I'm not terribly computer literate. I don't really want a "blog" that people would expect me to keep up with (that means less time actually interacting with people and helping them find information), but I wish it to be seen by all who come across it.

Any ideas????

Hmmm let me ask my son. He's a graphic artist and very computer literate.

Not that computer literate either but I'm sure somebody will come up with something. Great idea though!

Traveler, I recommend http://www.blogger.com because it is free and it is owned by Google. The only thing that you will need is a Google account. The site uses Wordpress templates which are the most user friendly templates for a beginner or first timer.

The way that it works is that you login with your Google account then you go to the site I gave you above. You create a "new blog" (your webpage) by answering a few questions and choosing from a number of options such as choosing from one of many templates (look and feel). You can then add photos and your text and that's it. As far as it being a "blog", well that is just the name that they give it because it can be used for that but you can choose to not enable the blogging option and just post text and images.

You can also purchase a website name (domain name) if you wish and link it to it or just use the name that is created when you create your webpage, something like "nameyouchoose.blogspot.com"

Some sites might let you blog for them or add to their site. You could get in touch with better health guy or jenna lyme blog. Those sites are well established and get a lot of traffic for lyme. Even some of the major lyme sites like lda, might have a blogging section or let you establish one for them.

Wow! Thank you all for the suggestions!!! I will be looking into them.

Louise, I thank you for your suggestions, but I really don't want to "join in" with other sites - I'm a bit of a loner. This is just to make my links more available to those that are interested - and honestly, there are quite a few from some of the sites you mentioned!! And I'm not much of a "blogger" per se, or you would have seen blogs here on healing well!! LOL! I just wanted somewhere to post links and a few thoughts that I have that seem to differ from a lot of others. And having had the success that I have had, I just wanted to share a few words of encouragement too!

The site I suggested is so that you can create a page on the internet where you can add links and other information that you want to share with others who might be interested. The word "blog" is used incorrectly and can be misleading.

You can also pay a small annual fee and register your domain name and have a third party company host your webpage. as part of the hosting package they will offer Wordpress templates to use and tools for you to enter content into them.
