UPDATE finally saw LLMD doctor for first time today!!!!!!!

First of all this doctors building is brand new, it was amazing walking into this place down in Albany NY
The doctor literately spent a little over 2 hours with me. He even came out to the waiting room to get me, no nurse, no waiting. He went into such detail in all the blood work I brought with me from the past 2 years and listened to every single symptom I had, didnt brush anything off like every other doctor has done to me(in other post I described seeing countless doctors over past 2 years). Based on my blood work, history , and symptoms he diagnosed me with Lyme, Epstien Bar flair up and possible a co infection of lyme because of my cold intolerance so He had me do the IGNEX lyme test today right in his office and sent it out today to California and had like 25 other blood test done as well(guy wanst messing around). I have never had a doctor listen to me and show he cared like this doctor doctor did today it was an eye opening experience and he talked about how flawed the system is. I cant believe he spent 2 hours with me and how detailed he was with everything we talked about.(I only tested posted for p41 and low 57 count, on normal lyme test btw)

Treatment Plan ( I ended a month of Doxy from regular doctor on april 9th, I was taking 100mg 2x a day)
-Via Defend Herb : 1x a day for 1st week, then 2x a day (from his office)
-Xymogen Probiomax 100 billion a day(from his office)
-Orthobiotic probiotic 2x a day(from his office)
-Magnesium Citrate 2 caps 2x a day (from his office)
-Vitamin D 5000 units 2x a day( I had) told me to keep taking
-Folic Acid, Vit B6, Vitb12 prescription VIT(I had) told me to keep taking

Iv been getting -Acupuncture for a few months and he told me to continue to do that, he offers it at his office but iv been seeing this person already for two months and He actually knows her, so there going to commicate. The -Acupuncture has helped so much with my sleep before i started two months ago i was lucky for 3/4 hours of sleep, and now Im sleeping normal . I go once a week

-Antibiotics
-Minocyclin 100 MG once a day for 3 days then advance to 2x a day
-Tindamax 1x per day for four days then following week 2x a day for four days out of week only

Treatment from his OFFICE
-Oximizer : which is some type of oxygen mask he described while on a bike to get oxygen in my blood
-Sauna treatment at 145 degrees with red green chromo therapy ( no idea what this is) but im listening to him.

REVIEW: 10/10: I am over the top satisfied with my appointment. I cant believe the time he took with me and the detail he went into with all my past labs, labs he ordered, talked about all my symptoms in detail, everything was just a mind blowing experience .Every doctor should be like this guy, I had no wait and He came out to the waiting room to get me and was with me the entire time and He really showed he cared about getting me better and really felt sorry I was a victim of this system of being tossed around for 2 years with this fatigue and no energy, He is confident with my age (25) my physically condition that I will without a doubt be back to 100 percent again but it will be a long process he did warn me. I am finally feeling confident and hopeful that I will get better for the first time in 2 years

The only thing that sucked was the COST! IDK what people do if they cant afford these doctors and test and treatment to get better, its mind blowing, I am lucky my parents are helping me out with all cost .
The appointment today was 600, the Ignex test he ordered was another 200 and then with herbs spent a little over 900 dollars today all said and done. THE GOOD NEWS is future treatment he told me will never been that expensive and that oximizer/sauna only is 25 bucks a week on top of the 50 a week i pay now for acupuncture

Congratulations!! I"m so glad that you like your LLMD so well!! That's awesome - and yes, it's always so nice to be really heard and validated!!

Do be sure to start each thing slowly and carefully and detox to help reduce the chance of herxing and to help reduce the severity of the herx if you do have one.

It sounds like you hit the jackpot! I hope that he will be able to help you beat Lyme! Keep us posted, especially about the oximizer. I've never heard of it before.

garden peace, I had my 1st treatment there today, The oximizer is something you see in a gatoraide commerial or something hooked up to you pumping oxygen into you. The nurse said it makes your heart rate go up more during exercise and helps get more oxygen into your blood? I was on an exercise bite doing lite pedaling with that hooked to me for 25 mins, that wasnt so bad. The sauna killed me, I was hydrated i drank a ton of water before and during and The heat made me feel terrible and out of it and woozy. It felt like my heart rate was higher in the sauna than it was on the oximizer. The sauna was a terrible time but my LLMD says its worth the half hour of sitting in there and its only 20 bucks so Im going to keep doing it I guess

Wow, that is really impressive! I am glad you are so happy with your experience because a positive attitude really makes a difference.

Also, I know everyone can have a different experience with it, but I wanted to tell you that of all the things I have done to get better and to detox, the IR sauna is very high on the list in terms of effectiveness. Your LLMD is absolutely correct that it is worth it. I try to go 2-3 times a week and do 140-145 degrees for 40-50 minutes.

It will probably be uncomfortable in the beginning. For me, the heat initially felt suffocating. Also, I did not sweat very well and had to cut the first few sessions short. The heat also caused a few minor herxes. I think after about 6-8 sessions or so, I began to feel the benefits so I made the commitment to continue going. I have been using the sauna for almost 3 months now and I can tell when I need to go, my body is very achy, I am tired and irritable, etc. If I skip a session, the toxic build up gets to be unbearable and no detoxing at home can remedy it. I am now at a point where I am sweating very efficiently, I think your body needs time to work up to that, especially when you are very sick.

Great advice LymieMom. I sure wish I could tolerate heat. I have heard great things about saunas for detoxing. Go slowly and be careful Myeezy. Let your body guide you on what you can handle. Don't push yourself too hard.

You still might want to go in the sauna for a shorter time and build up to see where your tolerance is, just a thought.

i will ask him, i find it weird he said for me to have red/green lights on but ill ask more about it next tuesday
