Parasite and viral testing, what non LLMD does this?

Astroman, I do the same thing with Specialists where I see them to get special tests done by them. From what my PCP has told me, My HMO will only cover certain tests if ordered by a specialists.

An Infectious Disease can certainly order parasite and virus testing and so can a Rheumatologist, Endocrinologists, gastroenterologist, Urologist, Hematologist and a Hepatologist. All of these doctors' specialty includes the detection of pathogens or their impact on the body.

I would go to a naturopath if your LLMD won't test.

Now, I could be wrong about this but viruses, while tough to beat, don't seem as particular about tx as bacteria. I had several viruses but LLMD prescribed only 1 antiviral. You could just start treating for high viral load and see if it impacts any symptoms. Beyond Balance IMN-V-II is natural and VERY powerful.

One of the very first things my LLMD did was test me for viral loads: EBV; CMV; HHV 6 and 8, and others. So you could ask your ND to test for specific things.

I totally agree w/ GH to SKIP the ID for everything except Ebola! However, while my immune system was severely compromised when I first started seeing my LLMD, all my serology tests came back negative, CD57 was extremely low. And another immune test came back indicating very low functioning. Yet all my viral tests were successful or in other words, came back w/ high titers, high levels, very definitive results and none of them were good. It took high doses of antiviral Rx for nearly a year to knock the viral levels down. I've now switched to the Beyond Balance tincture.
